County maps with Local Streets is an incredibly detailed map of your county because it contains every street and street label in our NAVTEQ database. In addition to this tremendous road detail, it includes major land and water features. How We Deliver This Amazing Detail State-of-the-art map development, coupled with careful feature planning, gives you an extremely detailed map of your county that is accurate and up-to-date. And on top of that, the map is optimized for editing and design. Large Map Size Maps are 60 inches on the longest side and are cut to the county boundary. This gives us an adequate space to show highways, major roads, and local streets plus, water and land features. Accurate Data Source We label every street using NAVTEQ, the most accurate and up-to-date data source available for the US road network. This guarantees you the highest quality, most complete, and current map at any given point in time. Careful Feature Labeling Because of the dense concentration of features on county maps, we take special care to design the map so all features are available to you. County maps are engineered so it's easy for an adept Illustrator user to create a map to suit any project. Major roads and highways are labeled at 6 point type for maximum legibility. Local streets are labeled at 2 point type to accommodate every street name. We force every local street name on the map. Because some local street labels overlap, especially in congested areas, you will need to spend time working with the text. Using the tools in Illustrator, you can resize, reposition, or delete text to create the finished map you need. Supplemental Street Index Every County Map with Local Streets includes a Street Index that lists all the street labels along with their map coordinates. The Street Index is provided as a separate text document, so you have the option of including it or omitting it from your project. Maps are delivered as layered Illustrator vector files All map features are delivered in in separate layers, which makes it easy to choose the features you want to include. Using Illustrator, you can easily modify the map's appearance: edit text, colors, size, add your own information and graphics. Maps are quickly produced and emailed to you within 1-3 business days. Some Notes on Map Data NAVTEQ data is transportation based and is primarily concerned with road accuracy, and so it may not include other features such as smaller lakes, streams, parks, etc. If water and other features are very important to you, please let us know when you place your order. We can query our data to make sure the features you need are included. If recent changes to the road network are very important to you, we are happy to check our data to be sure the roads you need are included in our data.
