Click the link at right to download fully working sample maps in the following file formats:

• Adobe Illustrator Format - Layered AI maps with fully editable area colors, lines and text (not outlines).
  
  
• Vector EPS - Single-layer vector artwork with raster preview image. Will work with most page layout and design applications.
  
  
• High Resolution JPEG - (300 dpi CMYK) for high quality print from photo/raster graphic design applications.
  
  
• PowerPoint - for use with Microsoft PowerPoint presentations.

The sample download is a ZIP archive containing twenty-five sample maps - including simple maps of the state of Idaho and more detailed maps of South America. Sample maps in all four of the above file formats are included.

Open the sample maps in your graphics application to see the full functionality of our maps. You'll be amazed at how good they look, and how easily you can customize the map.

Tips for evaluating our sample maps:

• Adobe Illustrator - be sure you have the layers palette visible. You can hide layers - for example rivers - by turning off the river layer. Note that each area on the map is an object, so you can select it individually and change the color. All text is fully editable, so you can change font, size, color, etc.
  
  
• EPS - You can place this Encapsulated Postscript file into your page layout or design application, and since it is vector based it will print with full resolution.
  
  
• High Resolution JPEG - this raster map image (300 dpi CMYK) can be placed into page layout applications, and also opened and edited using Adobe Photoshop and other image editors. This file can easily be cropped to show just the area you need.
  
  
• PowerPoint - This is a one-page presentation file, which you can either copy and paste or insert into your presentation, then modify as needed.
